20$ Type-R crankshaft....Serviceable?
So i saw an ad for a Type-R crank....50$, says it needs a micropolish. Figure that is one hell of a deal even if i never use it. Long story short i get there and it looks like he took a chissle to the damn rod journal, even warped the oil galley a little. Told him there was no way and he just asked for a 20, figured i would take a shot.
If worse came to worse could i have the journal welded then ground down?
Im not to good with measurements and numbers but if i had to say i would put the biggest gash at about 1Milimeter.
What do you guys think?
