Default evap purge solenoid ?

well i have a 93 cx and the motor is jdm b16a and the question is how do i hook up the evap purge solenoid i know its a red wire and it goes to a20 on the ecu pinout but how do you wire it up . help will be apriciated ..........

It is just a solenoid so its pretty easy. It has a negative (ground) trigger from the ECU which means that when it is activated the ECU grounds the red wire on pin A20. The other wire is an ignition switched +12v from the main relay.

just connect the red wire to pin A20 and check for +12v on the other wire when the key is in the on position.

is the evap and purge system really necessary? they dont have em in jdm land do they? my jdm b16 has no purge sensor.

In all honesty no, but the 'green' in me prefers to have it working. It doesn't hurt anything. It is part of the visual smog check as well so it should at least be present.
