Default starting a build

Hey guys currently looking for a car as a DD and to start a build. Do u guys think starting from a stock civic and doing my build is better or should i look into a civic that has a swap already. Basically would you guys prefer to build your car from stock or something already modded. And preferably looking for a EK coupe

Thanks for all answers

by ek coupe(incorrect term) the're called EJ's here you mean an ex or lower trim so non Si which would come with a d-series unlike the Si which has a b16. if you can do the swap you'r self the non si would be the cheaper route but if you want a DD from the start(that at least has some power) the Si would fit the role.
