Default Nasty shake at low speeds coming to a stop.

What's up everyone?

I was driving the other day and as I was coming to a stop, the front end has a nasty shake that only occurs at low speeds... possibly at higher speeds but less noticeable. Tires are only 2 years old, excellent thread, spin balanced. I checked wheel bearings today, no movement at all.

May sound stupid but would a warped rotor cause this behavior? I've replaced pads last year, still have a lot of life left but rotors looked fine. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

An alignment. Get one. Preferably at a place you trust that will do all 4 wheels simultaneously (i.e. not just the front driving ones)

if its only when your braking check brake disks, esspesially if you change rims for summer/winter. ive had my brakes warp before and that happen when braking. replacing rotors fixed it. i was told it MAY happen if the lugs arent torqued evenly. semi mkaes sence in my scenario it happened after changing rims for winter. but like said above wheel ballance and alignment as well.

Warped rotors. It's not easy to see but if the car shakes only when braking, that's your issue.

I third; Warped rotors.
Mind you someone will come along shortly and say it's not possible for a rotor to warp and offer up all kinds of articles to disprove it but the fact of the matter is the surface of the rotor is no longer flat; hence it is warped/distorted.

It happens even not braking as in its idling? Check your mounts?

I heard this before marc.. someone told me its not possible to warp the rotors but thats not true at all.
Especially when you take them to a machine shop and they do a run out check on them and prove they are out of round.
X4 warped rotors.
