Need to solve this idle problem like yesterday! Please help me!
ok so i had the surging idle but a quick clean of the iacv and tb and now its just a high idle... i dont have a fitv...... So i started spraying hoses with brake clean looking for a vacuum leak! I was told that this would help me find a vacuum leak if there was one! So while i was spraying them down i sprayed the iacv on the back of the manifold and what do ya know it started to surge... so does this meaN i need to replace the gasket and my idle will be normal?
Ive cleaned the tb and iacv and have not found any vacuum leaks and still have a high idle please help!!! I need to fix this like now so please help dont just view and leave

yes the double circle iacv gasket to manifold is leaking or you didnt tighten the iacv down. but those rubber gaskets get brittle and crack so id replace the gasket and reset ecu.
Always replace that gasket the first time you remove the EACV. it never seals the same afterward unless you use a sealing compound, which I prefer not to do.
also my cel comes on after about 10 minutes of driving but yesterday i unplugged the iacv while the car was idling nothing changed as far as the idle goes but now the cel is on as soon as the car starts... i dont know how to check the codes cause im a noob to hondas lol

If it's a surging idle, It's a vacuum leak. If it's just a high idle, you can adjust the Idle Adjustment screw on the top front of the TB. Tighten = lower idle.
The damn bracket where you can adjust the throttle cable was bent making the cable to tight..... Idle problem solved
