can i make the d15b work on the ex i dont care if both vtec work i just care if the engine will run correct i nedd help plz

What's wrong with your current engine? The simple answer to your question is any D family engine will work in your Civic.

There is a slew of research you need to do using the search engine of your choice.

 

thank my d16y8 blew up so im changing the engine but i can not find a y8 around LA for less the $1000 so thats why i got the d15b

 

i just put a d15b in mine. you did get the obd2 one right?
