Default No Power to Distributor!

I have a 2000 civic coupe getting no power to the dizzy for spark and it is not starting.

I have fuel (fuel pump kicks on), new ngk plugs and ngk wires along with cap and rotor all new. All fuses have been checked up hood and dash along with #9 ignition fuse.

I have used a test light and checked right out of the harness no power. Looked at saftey switch on clutch pedal appears good. I have drove the car last two days runs awesome.

Can't figure this out any help please!!!! Thanks Trevor

I'm not exactly sure what the ICM is grumblemarc I'm assuming something in the distributor itself? I unplugged the harness from the dizzy itself and checked the power wire directly. But I'll try the icm also!

ICM = Ignition Control Module a.k.a. Igniter. Did you check your fuses?

I did that because I was just double checking to make sure my ecu wasn't bad so from there I did the trouble shooting after trying the most simple thing and come to find out like I said there was no power out of the engine harness to the dizzy

Thanks for that clarification. Yes I did check every fuse multiple times.

Is there anything (part wise) that could be broken on the car that's not allowing power to run through the harness to the dizzy that I haven't checked?

The distributor plug.
How are you checking these things for voltage? A multimeter?

At first I was using a basic test light and then I switched over to a mulitmeter and went back through the process. I found out that the ecu wasn't bad along with the distributor I checked all groung they were good so was everything under the dash (all stock so wasn't sure) and fuses.

I finally pulled out the engine harness and check both end where it plugged into the chasis they had power but wasn't making it through the harness untaped it and chaffed power wire!

I appreciate the effort and help. Learned something new though testing the ICM

Guys the socket that connects to the distributor (OBD1) from wiring harness, does all the pins on the top should have power during ignition on!!. According to my understanding 4 on the top should be power and 3 on the bottom should be ground ??
