stock 99 civic lx
changed thermostat now it wont start
have spark, fuel and the ground to the thermostat is on good.
will turnover but wont crank, dont see anything disconnected and all fuses look good, can hear the fuel pump prime. any thoughts or suggestions?

 

did you fill you'r rad back up(not that that should cause it not to start). any coolant leaks

 

radiator is filled, no leaks

 

What do you mean the ground is "good"?

How about checking to make sure there's good metal to metal contact. "Not loose" aint cutting it.

Then you did something else. That or what you think is goo contact is actually not. I've changed a thermostat or two and have never had a car not start.
