Icon2 1995 Honda Civic Engine Swap Advice

right now i have a 95 civic 4 door with a D15 in it. i was looking to get some advice or helpful hints on what engine would be a good swap and where i can get it from. if anyone know help me out please. also i want to turbo it eventually and i want to get around 350-450hp out of it. Please Help!

You won't get that power out of any stock engine. You'll eventually have to build the bottom end.

Depending on your budget just get the biggest engine with the most horsepower that you can afford.

Once you go outside of the B-series the swaps get progressively more difficult/complex. If you're not really going to turbocharge it then SKIP THE B16A AT ALL COSTS!!!

Welp, would need to keep saving if your looking for any dohc vtec b-series.
$1500 is ls/b20 territory.

After buying the motor/trans, you still need the t-bracket mount, shift linkage, axels, ecu and conversion harness (if needed).

And thats all if you are interested in a b-series?

would the trans that i already have work until i can save and get a better one or is it just best to buy them together
