Help! Headlight/Dashlight problem
So I bought a 1990 Honda Civic Hatch the other day. Everything is fine except for one thing. When I switch on the headlights the tail lights, dash lights, and turn signals worked fine, but only the high beams seemed to work. I took it apart and unplugged the switch and now the headlights, tail lights and dash lights don't work. Turn signals still work fine. Is there any way of testing the switch? I just want to make sure it is the switch before buying one. Or can it be something else? Please help! thanks
I had a similar problem. Yes your switch could be bad. A chiltons or Hayes manual will have the pin point test your looking for. Clean the grounds to the head lights even tho they look ok.ones next to the pasenger headlight in the engine bay to the left and the others adjacent to it in the engine bay
What Honda.Si said is correct. Not sure how it matches up with the HLs being out as well. I also agree with what cowboy said...if it's not just a fuse check your grounds.
