has anyone tried AEM brake pads?
i've been thinking about using them to replace/upgrade my pads...anyone here have any experience with them or can suggest something else for someone who wants better stopping power for a daily driver than the crappy stockers?
I'm planning on using Valvoline Synpower with them also

i had aem on the rear they are a good stock replacement. I switched to Axxis all around and they work great. I haven't had a problem with them.
i have AEM on the front, their really good.
I have a set of rear AEM pads, brand new never been put on the car (i bought front and rear, and after putting in my front pads, and looking closer at the rear, the stock rears were still fine but the shop i got the pads from wont accept returns).
If you want i'll sell em to ya cuz their just sitting in my garage in the box doing nothing.

I hvae aem pads on the rear of my integra, I HATE THEM! they are a pain in my ***. They squeek when you push the brake. I know i installed them right too. i was so fed up with them i took them off to check to make sure they were on right. I even have disc brake quiet on them...

Hawk HPs or Axxis Ultimates
my hawks dust quite a bit and when cold (morning 1st time use) they squeak a little though.. and w/ silver rims you have to clean it quite often....
I've had a few friends who tried the AEM pads.. they said it sqeaked and there wasn't that much difference over stock..
shims if provided and disc brake quiet was used in all our installs...
I'm also using the Valvoline Synpower Dot 3/4 brake fluid...

I had AEM all around. Might buy them again. Not that much better than stock and still faded out if I was hard on them. I remeber when i got them I tested them out and made them fade HARD.
mine have zero squeakage.
when i slam the brakes tho, i feel a lil bit of a difference in stopping power tho. Probably it would help if i had non-bald tires. Cuz now, they stop my wheels from spinning much quicker, but my tires cant grip that power cuz their bald so my ABS kicks in.
Once i get some new tires this week, all will be well.
