So I'm pretty sure I managed to short out my ignition coil trying to start my car with a loose spark plug wire the other day. I got a new coil and was going about installing it, when I got to the leads on the old coils. There are 2 screws (+ and -) and the screws are completely rusted and seized, and now stripped thanks to my efforts today.

Anyone know what I can do about this? Should I just take it to a shop and have them grind the screws down or something?

 

I use vize-grips to remove these bolts the smaller the vize grips the better
