Default HELP: Installing MSD ignition coil

my car shut off on the express way this weekend....it started back up and then while cruising, the tach read 0 RPMs but the motoring was still running!?....then it shut off and hasn't started since..... i pulled a plug and connected it to a wire and while turning it over i didn't see any spark so i think the stock coil went out....
... instead of spending $86 on a stock coil i got the MSD cap and blaster coil.......anyone have any tips on the install....do i have to remove the stock coil(i heard its a bitch to get to) and which wires go to the new coil?

You'll have to crank the engine a bit to be able to see the small philips screw in the rotor base. You have to look from the back of the engine compartment facing towards the front of the car. I use a flashlight to see. Be carefull not to lose the screw as it will fall out easily. So jsut have someone crank the engine a little at a time until you can see the screw on the base of the rotor. Good luck. As for installing the coil, look up MSD ignitions's website for directions on what to do.
