Default Sohc 96 civic dx upgrade advice

I have a 1996 honda civic dx 4 dr sohc. I want to add a little more power to it. I already added an intake not the short ram either. I am going to add full exhaust with 4-2-1 header. I would like to know what else I would need if I add a new intake and tb to it. Any info would be great. Also Remember I am just trying to add a little bit of kick to the car. so anything else you have in mind would be great . Thanks

you could always swap a ex trans to make it alittle quicker.

get rid of your y7 intake manifold, it sucks , get the y8 manifold

or do a mini me swap

theres not much else without doing internal work

Not necessary, you could always add an B18 throttle body to open up the air flow a bit more. Consider changing the 02 sensor, may help with air/fuel ratio. Going with smaller rims maybe 13's or 14's to help with acceleration.
Hope I cud help. Go SOHC.

Well I was thinking of buying either and edelbrock intake or skunk2 and a new tb. If I do this will i need to upgrade fuel system. I was also thinking of doing the head swap to add the vtec u know the y8 head. My pops has a mill and we could take it down a little for more compression. also what about a cam change. See the thing is i wanna keep the sohc I'm not out to race anyone just want to add a little hp to the car with bolt on mods....

Are you thinking about chipping an ECU or upgrading your engine management system? This is the engine management and tuning section after all.

You could try the Civic section, You would probably get more answers and opinions from there. It contains a lot more specific information about bolt-ons and swaps for your car.

Don't waste your time. Not even with the over-hyped mini-me swap.
Do a full engine swap or boost it.

Why is this question plastered all over the forums?
