Default 1988 EF Hatchback (The Beginning)

So I picked up a 1988 EF Hatchback (DX) Model. Would this be considered a EF9?

SPECS:
Motor: JDM D15b VTEC
- According to the seller he bought this motor from a JDM shop completely rebuilt In June of 2011, and got in a small passenger side crash, thus bending the frame a bit, and damaging the hood and fender. He just left it there
-The Transmission has a brand new Clutch and Super light Billet Flywheel.
-Starts up great and runs very solid (Overheated while idle, but because the fuse for the fan was out, since fuse was put in had no problem)

THE DISTRIBUTOR LOOKS LIKE IT DOESNT FIT ON THERE LIKE IT WAS JUST PUT ON, BUT DOESN'T BELONG. HE DID MENTION THAT HE TRIED LIKE 3 OR 4 DIFFERENT ONES BECAUSE HE HAD NO IDEA WHAT MOTOR HE HAD.WOULD A D16Z6 DIZZY FIT? WHAT ENGINE IS THIS FROM?

Wheels: I Know there full forged aluminum 16", but any idea exactly what they are? Brand new tires very nice :D

Body & Interior: Body is okay dings and dents, and interior seems to be "Not" stock. Any idea what its from?

Can you guys give me some info on things you see or anything fishy on the motor you can see from the pictures anything would help

Gonna be updating my fixes on here so stay tuned!

PS: I am completely new to the honda scene AKA Noob! So all help is appreciated!

It is not considered a ef9 it is a ed6 and the interior looks to be from an integra

D16z6(?); 92-95 civic ex coupe and si hatch, if you have the original harness, you'll need the obd0 to obd-1 jumper.

Check on its block to see what it says about the motor. if you dont know where then it is located in the front below the upper radiator hose, right at the boder between block and the tranny.

Block:

What kind of distributor is this and what does it go to? (Trying to sell it :D) haha

Basically now I'm stuck with having to get a obd0 to obd-1 jumper because the obd0 Plugs are spliced on their o.0 haha! This guy really couldn't find the distributor for this motor -______-

Could I Just buy a OBd1 Plug and Resplice it to where the splicing to the obd0 plug is?

Wheels are Rota Circuit 8 which is the better known as the knock-off Mugen MF8 unless your lucky they say Mugen on them and if you have a set of 4 that are worth more then the car lol.

Funny thing is that my brother sells cars in palm beach and he stumbled upon the 1990 hatch with the same swap only thing whoever had it did upgrade from OB0 to OB1. I took it off his hands for dirt cheap and the car is all there just no ac or ps. Needs a paint job.

How exactly can I Find out what kind of ECU I have? How do I Know if I have a OB1 all around? I Know I have a fuel rail with injectors so its not PGMFI!

By the way thanks everybody for your answers
