Default turn signal problem

Whats up everyone. Im having a bit of electrical trouble. And yes i have looked for the answer myself first. Anyways...

I am swapping a 95 integra gauge cluster into my ef civic. Everything is going smooth and everything works except for the blinkers. I found out the hazard button completes the circuit so i plugged that in and now we have blinkers working in the cluster as well as the front and back blinkers, but only on the right side. I am getting the sound of the relay inside the combination switch with the cluster plugged in, but when i unplug the cluster i only get the sound of the relay when im using the blinkers on the right side.

I have been unable to locate any type of diagram to help me follow the flow of power. If anyone has one that would be really helpful. I really just dont want to spend 163$ on another combination switch. A side detail: when i was working on the cluster i came down on the combination switch lever, but it wasnt that hard. Anyone have any troubleshooting methods on the switch?

Thanks for any help

That can do it, I've done the same thing with my wiper switch. I'd defenately start there

This is for a different model but our layout is the same for the turn signals: http://i639.photobucket.com/albums/u...cture_4806.jpg

Oh and try a junkyard for a replacement switch, I've gotten them in working condition for $10-$15.

thanks for the junk yard suggestion, saved a bunch on that even if that wasn't the problem. it ended up being a combination of a short blowing the bulb in the front and im not sure what happened with the back, but it randomly came back on tonight after going through my wiring and cleaning it up a bit. now that i have connected the vss to b2 on the old ef pigtail i should have speed back at the ecu. now all i need is cluster lights and i can start putting this thing back together and stop driving around in a car that it looks like stole.
