Turbo setups for a k-series
Hey guys, I used to have an 03 civic EX coupe as my first car when I turned 16 a couple years ago. Tranny ended up going and I picked up a 2006 sti. I absolutely love the subie but just looking for a second car that I can get good gas mileage on and reliably dd. I was looking at a type-s rsx but I'm really interested in making somewhat of a sleeper, and I really liked my old 03 aside from the tranny problems.
Anyways I'd like to pick up another civic and k-swap it and don't want anything crazy, maybe something capable of running 12s. Has anyone been able to reliably do this with a N/A k? If not what kind of turbo setups would I be looking at to achieve this?
Anyways here's some pics of my old civic(which if I had to do it over again, would definitely NOT get those ugly wheels/headlights) and the new ride

Can you make a 12-second N/A K-swap? With the right amount of resources... yes. As for turbo-setups, there are plenty of K-swap guys out there with some impressive track times. Locally, there's an EP3 friend of mine that runs 10's in a full-interior street legal setup. And, he's merely running 450whp. (EP3's are heavier chassis then EM2's.)
