Default IAT and fuel reg interfering

I am building my B16A for my del slo. I went to put the IAT on today, only to find out it interferes with my fuel regulator. OEM the IAT is on 4th runner. Blox has it mounted on the 3rd runner. I have tried googling the question, but not sure exactly what to type in, I have tried various things with no luck. Below are 2 pics.

Block it off and mount the IAT sensor to the intake piping instead OR get a remote mounted FPR.

Which is the most effective and cost effective method? Boosted car so it would have to be in charge pipe. I would prefer to not extend wiring.

At this point it doesn't matter what you prefer. What works is what's on the agenda. If you're crafty it won't cost you anything.

Most of the time people that have boosted a car have switched to an aftermarket rail and FPR (needed or not) so this wouldn't be an issue.

Waste of money to upgrade rail and regulator. What is easier remote the fpr or mount air temp sensor in the charge pipe?

Relocate the IAT sensor. Everything I've read says that it being ON the manifold subjects it to heat soak.
A drill and the right sized grommet. Had to do this when I boosted my car.
