wow, just ....wow

just got off the phone with edelbrock, aside from the guy having the tone of him being better than me and me not knowing what im talking about....

me: so I asked if the kit comes with the fitting, or if it available to purchase seperatly

rep: nothe fiting is not included and the line must be modified

me: so you don't even have the fitting available for purchase?

rep: no sir you must modify the rail or fuel line to make it fit.

me: well o....k..... so your fuel rail is not compatable with a stock fuel system, i'm just wondering since your leading competition...aem, golden eagle, and other all include the -an to banjo fitting to use the stock line.

rep: yeah ours doesn't use that the line would have to be modified

me: so your telling me I would have to call your competition and buy a fitting from them if they even sell seperatly

rep: yes, you could see if they sell them seperatly

me: wow...ok thank you very much

I hang up

needless to say im probably posting it up on ebay, hopefully get my money back and buy an aem or edelbrock just out of principle...it'd cost like $50 maybe more to conver my feed to 8an....**** that

its not missing they just dont supply or make available the fitting to hook it up. my fault for not reallly looking at the picture well enough. the larger an fitting there looks correct, but is not the supplied fitting here is my exact kit, i took this pic a few hours ago

the blue fitting is some weird fitting to connect by your fuel filter or something to conver to -an lines. what it does not come with is a fitting that will screw into the end of the rail and allow you to use your factory fuel line

edit: here is pic i just pulled from ebay of a golden eagle rail....it does not come with the big silver fitting to use the stock fuel line

The edlebrock rail listed in the link is for 14mm bosch style injectors.. If you're using oem or any aftermarket oem style injectors ( pte, dsm, denso, etc etc, ) then this rail will not work for you. There are adapters, but they are for the shorter style bosch injectors ( injector dynamics ) and may make your injectors too tall.
