Question on hondata s300 convert to gsr vtec
Don't know much about ecu tuning but I wanted to know if I can retune the ecu for an obd1 gsr stroker?
The hondata s300 is already tuned for b18b turbo and want to retune to an all motor setup. Again sorry for the dumb question just don't know if u can use a s300 ecu turbo setup and retune it to na.
Thanks in advance

Ok so what company has a good background on tunin or can I just get a basemap?
Yea I've bought the car with the ls-t setup with the s300 but I've rebuild the bottom end with forged internals, now I just want to go na with a stroker gsr.
Thanks again

Changing maps is as simple as plugging in your laptop.
You could get a basemap from someone reputable like Xenocron.com, Phearable.net, or HAMotorsports.com, but that would just be a "get-you-by" tune until you could have it professionally tuned or DIY the tune.
You could probably also find a close-enough basemap and then IMMEDIATELY street tune it. To do this you need to be able to accurately datalog AFR.
Either way your best results would be to finish the tune off by taking the car to a professional tuner. Make sure you find someone with a good reputation.

Man ur every where. Ur like my mechanic guru lol.
I know I got a tuning company called balance tuning near me don't know their rep though. But last time I checked was they charge $165 an hour. Is that a good price and how long does it usually take to tune a setup like mine?

Need help guys I can't find the plugin for my hondata ecu? And how can I tell if its s100, s200, s300???
The ecu has a sticker that says hondata p28 on the side of the ecu. And when I take the cover off the ecu, it says p06 inside on top wher the ecu plugs into. So which is it?
It also has a sst chip. There a blue chip then a two black chip sits on top of the blue chip then the sst chip sits on top of the two black chips. Sorry if its confusing but don't know how to add pics

This is what my ecu looks like. I think mayb its just a chipped ecu not sure if its hondata and if some just took the ecu board out and place it in the hondata case
I hope you didn't pay too much for it
But to answer your original question if you keep this ECU you'll need to have a tuner (or someone with a chip burner) burn you a new custom chip for your all-motor build. You can then replace the SST chip with the new chip and use that map.
Or you could just spring for an upgrade to a hardware emulator

No it came with the car when I bought it. Damn I knew something didn't look right. What about the blue chip and the two black chips in the pics, y are they triple stacked like that?
