Hey guys and girls,

I just picked up a used 1992 VX hatch with a d15b7 swap done by the previous owner. I come from a Subaru background so this Honda stuff is kinda new to me.

So my heat slider won't go all the way to the hot side it feels like it's binding, I looked under the dash and the slider cables are in good shape. When i slide the lever all the way to the left (cold) it still blows warm air. Is there an adjustment on the back of the slider control? Anything else it might be?

Check the heater valve on the heater hose near the firewall.

Also check the heater valve linkage located above where the passenger's left foot sits.

 

cool, i'll check that. feels like the linkage is binding somewhere keeping the slider from going all the way to the hot.
