I have a 98 civic dx i did a b16 swap on for a friend. I did an obd-1 conversion on it all is well exept for i keeping throwing a map sensor code 3. Ive tried a new map sensor ive went through the wirining i cant seem to find the issue any suggestions.

 

Does the engine start and run?

What wire colors do your three MAP sensor wires have and what ECU terminals do these three wires pin to? Post pictures.

Does the MAP sensor connector get 5 reference volts from the ECU?

 

Yes it starts and runs at idle fine when you try to get on it the car falls on its face and dies. Ive checked all the wires a put a new map sensor and i tried one off my running civic just in case the new one had issues. The only thing i havnt checked are the ecu and testing the voltage from the ecu. Im getting another ecu today so i will be able to cancel that out.
