It's a 92 Civic DX Hatch with B18c

Having problem with Map Sensor. Seems like everytime I hit a bump on the street my car burns rich and code 3 comes on. And the car idles bad and dies(while driving)... But if I'm lucky enough and hit another bump the car comes back alive, but still burn rich afterwards? Seems like there is something lose. I check the wiring from the TB to the ECU the connections are tight. I check the voltage from the wire harness its at 5v. Used 3 other Map Sensor already, same problem. Weird thing is that I have 2 Map sensor wires one from the DX wire harness (this one goes straight to the ECu) and the GSR Map sensor wires which i have no idea where they go. I use the DX Map sensor wires. Used them since the first time i did the swap and never had no problems until this year. Everytime this happens the car dies on the street and idles bad. then i would have to reset the ECU and everythign will be fine. Until i hit another bump/pothole? Need some Help. and I also got a Fields vtec controller... hooked up too? Check all the wiresfrom the fields they seem to be okay? Whatelse should I do/check? thanks ahead...

 

the map sensor plug from the integra harness...im pretty sure shouldn't go to anything instead you take the plug from the map sensor from your civic that should be attached to your firewall and plug that into the MAP sensor on the motor....you can take the map sensor attached to your firewall all the way off and only use the MAP sensor from the motor....try that out and let me know if it works or not

yeah the integra map sensor wires you dont need you need to use the one off your dx. when you take off the map sensor wire does it idle high?? what kind of mods you got?? hit me up at salbaje1@attbi.com
