Disabling vtec pressure / NeptuneRTP
Hey everyone,
This year I'm building a new engine harness from scratch *Again to make it look even cleaner then before. I noticed I have the ability to disable another sensor VtecPressure. Is there any disadvantage to doing this?
I had low oil once and I got a cel for VTP error and noticed I had low oil, that was a STUPID issue on my part, but that's about all I can think you need it for.
I want the least amount of wires possible to make the engine run but still be functional, that's the goal and with VtecPressure gone its one less.
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks,

Thanks,
I wasn't concerned about performance.
Wait you are telling me disabling that switch doesn't give me more HP?

The disadvantage comes when your oil pressure is low. That's a rare situation, but having it has saved an engine from damage on the dyno before.
