i was talking to brandon about boosting the B1 on the 5gen accord but i think my money is gonna allow for the 4gen boost, anyway...since the numbers for a 8 psi boost on the b1 run between 230-250 hp can i get substantial gains like that from a manual f22a6 ? thats what my friend has and i think i'm going to get the same, bills, other expenses not to mention a boosted 4gen accord = ULTIMATE SLEEPERS around here prevent me from getting the 5th gen,So we are both looking for a goal of 250-260 whp, what parts would be needed for the rebuild ( both engines have high mileage ) to get the numbers we're looking for ? oh..they're going to be homemade t3/t4 projects..( our pockets arent that deep ) with all that said ANY info/suggestions/opinions would be GREATLY appreciated.. TIA !

well, i found 3 4gen accords for $1500-2100 all manual and one with 124k mi ( the highest was 156k ), so ehh 3k on an accord then have to convert it to manual is a bunch of money i'm not trying to spend...

 

My price is negotiable. Buy it and you get a nice DC Sports header for your turbo project.

You speak to Brandon, and he know just about all you need to know.

T3/T04, intercooler, quality parts like wastegates, BOV, etc., keep the piping as straight as possible and intake air as cold as possible. Upgrade your ingition fuel delivery and get some sort of engine managment ECU. After which, buy some dyno time. I'm sure all this isnt news to you, but those are the generals.

 

i think i should have aked brandon again but i didnt feel like just getting one persons opinion, i KNOW what parts to buy for the turbo kit, my questions were referring to the BLOCK, and search my ***, theres nothing there for 4g boost questions except for the guy that asked those like 2 weeks ago, and nothing i'm asking was in that post, thanks for anything you thought you were helping me with..i'll go to brandon

 

Whats the difference between boosting a 4th gen versus a 5th gen? F22A6 vs. F22B1. Difference of 5 less horses and VTEC. It will not make much difference.
