Default manual boost controller-worth spending big cash or not

is it worth it to spend over $100 bucs for a manual boost controller, or can i do the job with somethin for like $50 or even cheaper if it doesnt matter. my electronic greddy was stolen out of my car. need a quick fix

i just picked up hallman pro mbc and I heard good stuff about it. Im gonna hit the dyno Friday night up the boost 12psi

i have run hallmans on all of my different setups/cars. i havent had a complaint yet.

back in the day i tried out a turboxs that cost me $50 and the damn thing was all over the place. switched it out for a hallman soon after
