Default Garrett TP38 (T4) Turbo too big for LS/Vtec?

I was just wonder if it is too big or just fine. I see some post saying how this turbo will max out around 4500 rpm and other on supra site saying how it's too big.

Also when i say too big, i mean will there be too much turbo lag and wont make alot of power for a 5 spd?

it says 1.10 a/r on the turbine

Last question, how much is this turbo worth anyways?

trying to get 300-350 whp DD
stock b16 head fully rebuilt
stock ls block fully rebuilt w/ srp piston arp bolts

For 350 its too big, its basically just a reverse rotation gt38 based turbo, it won't max out at 4500 but don't expect anything below 6k +

How much? Depending on condition, pretty cheap. Just give it to me, I've got a v8 that needs one

Its actually one of my buddy's, not even mine yet. It was rebuilt at this trucking place, it has normal shaft play for a ball bearing, oh it still has oil in it too, hasn't been drained yet.

So price wise, how much?

It's not ball bearing, just a standards journal bearing turbo

I've seen them go 100-150ish normally on ebay

And you don't drain a turbo, if its off the motor there isn't any oil in it
