Default Spitting flames

Need help.

Was driving down highway yesterday and my EF started bogging and backfiring, loud backfires. Pulled into parking lot and wiggles dizzy around. Didn't seem to affect on it. It starts, very hard idle. When I hit the throttle, it'll go up to about 2500 and then start choking and spitting flames. Need to diagnose so I can get it home w.o getting it towed.

Timing? Fuel Filter?

Any helps appreciated.

Take off your distributor cap and see if the screw on the rotor backed out.
