1995 Civic Good Idle Rough Acceleration up to 4k or 4000 rpm's
Car is hard to start. Once started the idle is good and where its suppose to be. Regardless if parked or driving I will accelerate, but the acceleration is rough up until 4k then the rpm's just take off as normal. It seems the engine is chugging up until 4k.
Anyone experience this? I think the timing belt jumped...

When did you last replace the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor? Have you inspected them? Is the ignition timing set to spec?

Replaced Fuel Pump, Plugs, Wires, Distributor (Coil & Ignition Unit) FIlter, Cleaned all injectors, Main Relay. All items were either bought new or from a known working vehicle. This helped a bit.
I took the car on the free way and everything seemed fine. I'd hit past 4k on the RPM's a few times. Then the engine light came on, the RPM guage went to zero and the car shut off. The car wouldn't restart. Right away, I changed out the main relay again, still no start. I waited 5 minutes, and the car started right up. It still chugged a lil bit up to 4k. I parked the car and rev'ed the engine past 4k and held it there for about 5 minutes. Eveything is fine, no engine light, no smoke, no sputters.
I turn the car off and tried to restart and now it wont start. Then the engine light came on. Change out the mian relay still no start.
Any ideas?

I will check. I will force the engine to shut down and then check right after. If there is spark and there is fuel, what are the possilble malfuntions?
One more thing, Since replaceing the Distributor the car will start fine, its just once the engine light comes on and kills the engine I have to wait at least 10 minutes before the car will start again-(Main relay is good, borrowed from a known car)
