My tranny makes a constant noise when I don't have my foot on the clutch and when i step on the clutch pedal noise goes away until i realease it again.

what could be causing this?

It just started yesterday after running my car at the track. Any suggestions would help

do you have any idea how much it is to fix this?

 

i know for a fact that im throwing out a bearing.. when i let the car roll back... i roll the car forward ( at a stop light when im very bored ). when i play with the clutch it makes a nasty noise. i have stopped doing that now.. no money to fix.

 

the parts is really cheap i think they are about 70 bucks but the labor might be little high...coz they are going to take the tranny out from ur car to get this out...since u want to get this open, u might want to change ur clutch too at the same time to save u some labor in the long run...hope this helps

what kind of noise was it...i just noticed my car makin a weird noise today...sounds like its comin from tranny area when i first start to engage the clutch...its kind of a sounds like squeeeek...haha sound effects...anybody know if this could be the same problem?

 

oh yeah, i gotta add something.. its hard for me to get into first sometimes.. it goes in halfway.. and the only way to get it inall the way is if i release my clutch A LITTTLE.

why is this?

 

im not sure why it does that...mine does that sometimes too...anyone?
