2000 ex - D16Y8 bottom end is trashed
I have a 2000 civic ex bone stock d16y8 that the bottom end is trashed.
I have access to a d16y7 what does it take to swap from a y8 to a y7.
Also I've came across a lot of sites that sell engines who do you recommend and who do you stay away from?

I'll be a little more specific the y8 is coming out of the car.
The y7 is going in.
I want to reuse the y8 harness and auto trans that is already in the car.
What ecu, intake, distributor etc?

You'd need to source a auto DX ECU. but everything else is bolt on, however you may run into a little issue with the air pump thing 99-00 got.
Slight compression difference.
