Hey guys so for the past few weeks my car has been suffering from this noise while I'm driving its hard to explain but its like a big fan running. Well I know my tie rods are shot but I never had this sound come from them like this. Also my driver side axle was leaking grease so I replaced it thinking it would solve my issue. It has somewhat calmed it down but now the noise only comes when I turn the steering wheel to the left . Now when I was doing the work on replacing the axle I noticed that the wobble was doing its job so good that those two screws that hold back the disc were sticking out the heads were bent way out of shape.
Now I've watched "ericthecarguy" video on suspension noises and he points out to grab the wheel at 10 n 2 position and try to move the wheel and if there is movement there os something wrong but he didnt go in depth with it. What does this mean cause my driver side moves but my passenger side doesn't

And to rephrase it gets worse when I tilt the steering slightly to the left while driving. I can turn to the right and no noise.
you have a bad wheel bearing. if noise changes while turning thats a big giveaway. even if you get no "play" it can still very well be the wheel bearing. One way I like to figure out if its the wheel bearing is to remove the tire and caliper and spin it hard by hand and try too listen to unusual noises.

I do have play on the wheel when I have the car lifted but just on the driver side. Yea it sounds like I have a flat but with no vibrations just the noise. Well ill be replacing the front wheel bearings then. Around what would be a good price for a shop to do this?

So in other words since my tie rods are shot my lca bushings are shot my lower ball joint is shot I should also change them all out while doing the wheel bearings damn thats gonna be some money. Cause I can grab the wheel anywhere and it will have play.
