Icon2 whistle in throttle body question?

my ek civic makes a loud whistle in the intake. its only if you snap the throttle realy quick or under hard acceleration other wise it dosnt do it. at first i thought it was the CAI that came one it when i baught the car, so i took it off and drove around the block and it still did it.

iv talked to a few ppl and theres was the idle screw on the back of the throttle body.

so is there anything wrong with adjusting the idle screw all the way shut and just making up for it with cracking the butterfly a bit with the throttle screw adjustment screw or throttle stop screw whatever its called?

Well anytime you change throttle position, you'll effect fuel economy and various other things, the throttle position (TP) sensor affects many systems. So I would say not to do that but to the extent it would matter I don't know, because I don't know how far off it currently is lol. I would just make sure it is in fact that screw, then go from there. Look around for small vacuum leaks and air leaks around the intake portion of the throttle body, swirling air can cause whistling.
