Head, Block, Transmission Codes
its a D15B block HM on top, on the head it says p2j-7 and 97 stamped on the right side.
i just wanna know where the head came from? what year, model it came from? any idea? i've searched and dint find anything.

ok my bad, i think my question was suppose to be, does my 1999 honda civic ex M/T has a d16y8 "A/T" head? does it make any difference? using an automatic and manual head?

Head: p2j-7 (right corner says 97[so meaning i have an automatic head])

it is running well, i just dont want to have any problems, prevent everything while i still can. i just bought it 2-3 months ago so im still trying to know whats in it. but nevermind, i just found out that it doesnt make any difference, one more question though, since its a p2j head, should i use a p2j ECU or is p28 ok?

There is nothing wrong with your car. Leave it the hell alone. If you're trying to get power out of it then swap it or boost it. Everything else is a waste of time.
im using a d15b block with y8 auto head and 99 EX transmission, im using a p2p ECU, shouldnt i be using an older ECU? and i know i cant chip OBD2 thats why im asking for a site where i can get a p08 or p28 chipped ECUs.
Everybody trying to jump on the boost bandwagon and don't want to take the time to learn anything. Want it all handed to them.
How about this. How about researching about going boost before you start talking about a chipped ECU. The Forced Induction forum has an extensive FAQ. Start reading. When you've finished reading, read it again. Twice. Then look up build threads and copy one. Easy.
