92 integra cel code 43. help me
Check engine light is on for my integra. Code 43 (fuel supply system. Starts fine no problem runs great for a while then a sudden loss of power. Drops then I have to tap on gas pedal to get it going. Almost like it wants to shut off. I was told that the main fuel relays go out on these integra's but I can hear and feel the two clicks while key is in the "on" position and the third click when I start the car. I don't really hear the fuel pump but honestly, I don't know what I should be listening for. Lol. So any help on this subject would brighten my day.

Tossing parts at a problem is an expensive way to troubleshoot a problem, you should be testing the fuel pump and checking the fuel pressure before just replacing th pump, a lot of work on a G2. 94
i had that happen onmy 91 DA and it resulted to be an injector. Same symptoms. i would give it gas and it would want to fall on its face...if i feathered it it would somewhat help it smooth out. place a long screwdriver on the metal part of the injector body when the car is idling, then place your ear on the screwdriver handle...you should hear some clicking coming from the inside of the injector. If you do it means the injector drivers are working...its a rough diagnostic but it might help you

I had code 43 too. I added a permanent fuel pressure gauge to my 92 Integra, it helps a lot with diagnosing. I had no fuel pressure. I soldered the main relay, and I had 12 volts going to the fuel pump so I changed the fuel pump. then I only had 32 pounds at idle in the car. still seemed very weak later I was driving and code 43 came back again, I change the fuel pressure regulator ,cranked the car up and now I have 38 pounds of fuel pressure. I think the bad regulator was over working the pump that's why It burned out. hope this helps people in the future

I replaced the o2 sensor with a new one from autozone. Now the code has not returned, and I am getting better gas mileage now.
