Get a Jack under it to release the tension so you can ease it out. I like to use a thick piece of plywood between the Jack and tyranny to make sure its level
I'm more worried about the flex plate bolts. If they are still bolted to the torq convert......just me. But yes the trans mount is still there and seems to be "backed" into the bracket all they way.
what lost again said.. make sure u unbolted the flex plate from the torque converter.. best way to shimmy it out is to have a jack under it and someone on there back shimming the trans and someone on top doing the same but trying to hold the weight as well.. there are the 2 dowell pins wedged in so u have to get those free..once you do it should slide out
The mount bolts are removed from both the trans and the mount. There's no bind, the bracket moves freely.
The bolts from the flex plate to the fly wheel are removed.
The only thing that maybe I need to do is remove the drivers side Cv. I thoughtful I could leave it in there.
I broke both my one inch breaker and ratchet trying to get the drivers 36mm cv bolt off.
Good thing its craftsman.
I have the city after me to get it right or I face fines.
I'm so fed up right now, because after all the reading and videos I've watched, this look like a weekend project. Not the case.
The car is back down on all four wheels. At this point, I don't know.
I've always wanted a wagon, but this is pissing me off.
Heres the bolts I removed from the broken tans to the used trans

I still see the front subframe in the car. Do you have the passenger side radius rod out? If not the trans will never come out. I always remove the front subframe with radius rods attached for two reasons. It tilts the assy. down on the passenger side and generally just makes more room. Also I don't like removing the nylon locker nuts from the radius rods.
