how do u separate the block from the trans? (Gsr) im getting my block sleeved and i cant get it to separate from the trans. The motor is out of the car, the trans and block still together. A litte help would be appreciated thanx!

 

use a small flat-head screwdriver to open it slightly then pry the 2apart. make sure that all the bolts are disconected

 

ok thanx. i tried using a pry bar first still no movement, all bolts are out. But ill try the screw driver

 

well if you have a pry bar just start it with a screwdriver then pry
