Default s300 same p06 and same tune, different results.

I pull out my p06 with s300 for another p06 with s300 and BBG. Upload my tune and the car wont start. Had to scale my injectors down by 250cc just to get it to start and still running lean. It's so far off I am not even able to drive the car. I tried my tune on my buddys p28 in my car and similar results. My question is, **why are the ecu's so inconsistant from one another?** Other systems I have used don't have this issue.

I have never seen such variances between ecus.

It sounds like the original ecu which your calibration was made on may have an issue.

My original p06 had my 750cc injectors scaled as 750, when I swaped to the other p06 I had to scale them as 500 just so the car will start. I have seen it with 3 ecu's now, just wondering why.

Did you update sManager i the mean time?

My experience is that there is a huge difference between the "CD-rom" version of hondata, and the newest version.

The software was the same for both ecus so it should not have made a difference. It was 1.6 something I think. I can't be the only guy who has seen this before.

Damaged circuits on ecu?
Cold solder?

Unless there is an issue with the injector drives on one of those ECUs, there should be no difference.

I have also noticed something even more wild. My warmup cycle is way rich to the point that I am pulling -40% all the way to 170* then once the engine heat soaks it slowly gets normal. Hey Xenocron, maybe I can ship it to you for testing. I also want BBG in my "known good" ecu. PM me.

Turns out the MAP sensor is wacky. It's a Crespo 4 bar and on cold start it reads 16" of vacuum on s300 while the gauge reads 20" then once it's heat soaked s300 reads 24" @ idle while the gauge still reads 20"
Time to get a tried and true sensor.

I have seen crespo 4 bars fall apart on the dyno. They totally suck.
I refuse to tune a car with one. I will only use Omni Power or Hondata map sensors.

I'm using a GM 3bar. With the values I found on this site the sensor works perfectly and needed minimal tuning.
