Never experienced this problem before. HELP
Well here is my setup 92 accord with a swapped in f22a1 from a 91 accord.
The car is running rough as if on 2 cylinders. I will go into what is going on. Or more or less whats not going on.
While the car is running I can remove spark plug wires 1 and 2 from the head and the car will run the same.
I can also remove the 1 and 2 fuel injector plugs while running and still runs the same.
Things I have replaced
spark plugs
wires
cap and rotor
new dizzy
new injectors
new injector resistor box
new fuel filter
Things I have confirmed are good
Belt timing
ignition timing
Firing order
everything above.
NO CEL
Cleaned
throttle body
intake manifold
IACV
Now if I move swap plug wires 3 and 4 the problem swaps to these cylinders and 1 and 2 work perfect. if I swap them back 1 and 2 mess up again.
Also if I removed 3 or 4 plug wire or injector wire while running the car stalls out. which is what is expected.
This is kind of a hard thing to explain without talking to someone face to face. But this is my DD and I need this back about 2 weeks ago
I hope this is a ok eplanation for you
Thanks
Tim

You're gonna need to compression test it. You can get a kit for like $20 at autozone or oreilly.
Don't forget to remove the ecu fuse to disable spark and remove the main relay to disable fuel.

If moving the two spark plug wires moves the problem......................then wouldn't you suspect that those wires are the problem?

Are you sure you got the spark plugs wires correct? It should go 1 3 4 2 with 1 starting at bottom left corner of distributor and running clockwise around distributor.
Also, number 1 cylinder is closest to drivers side fender and goes in order 2 3 4 towards passenger side fender.

I forgot to add I did a compression test on this 190 on every cylinder.
used 3 sets of plug wires also
checked firing order about 17 times now. its the same every time haha
Figured it out on a total accident last night!!!
Turns out I had the vacuum line for the EGR in the wrong position.
I went to unplug a vacuum line to see how much idle changed and if it changed the 1 and 2 cylinder at all. Well as soon as I unplugged the EGR the car idled high which was expected. But it idled very smooth. I plugged that vacuum port and everything is perfect now. Never would have guess it was dumping too much exhaust back into the motor.
