hi i have a 2001 civic dx coupe and was just wondering if the speaker wiring harnesses for the front speakers are the same (size, shape) as the speaker wiring harnesses for the rear speakers. i'm gonna be replacing my front and rear speakers and am gonna buy speaker harness adapters so i don't have to cut any wires.

 

I have only seen one kind for both front and read for Honda/Acura.

Hint.. you can "unclip" the plastic housing and plug the terminals directly to the speakers, no cutting and no extra connections for the signal to go through.

Keep the plastic housings to reinstall if tou ever have to. 94

 

oh, i did not know that could be done. if so, i'll do it. if this can be done, then why are there speaker harness adapters for sale?

 

So someone can make some money, the plant that makes them, the distributor that wholesales them, the retailer that sales them, isn't capitalism great.
