I'm assuming theres some gaskets, do I need to replace them? How long does it usually take to take the intake manifold off?

 

I would say it's the hardest thing to take off the motor. If you've never done it before, better plan for quite a bit of time.

 

to make your job eaiser make sure that you have a small wratchet with an extention and universal. Small like 3/16 smal. (i think thats it) and if your not going from underneath have a couple before you tackel the brace thats underneath the intake mani

 

shouldnt take to long.....3 hrs both ways ?

 

I've done it under an hour, but I already had the brace off from the rebuild.

 

that brace is horible!!! literally took me 4 hrs to take it off(mani), once the brace is off it takes about 45 mins...need small hands. if ur gonna be drilln for direct port, i have a gsr manifold already drilled that im tryn to get rid of cheap, hit me up
