Default spark plug color

hi
since i tuned my car i removed to check my spark plugs twice.
first time was like this :




all cylinders was almost the same
it was not a wot pull on 3rd or 4rth gear i just parked my car and removed them to check.

what are these white marks on them ?

second :



still some white marks on them and porcelain is black ?

engine is a b18c5 with i/h/e and tuned p28 ecu with rdx 410cc injectors.
i use ngk bkr8eix plugs .

how were you driving the car right before you took them out? were you rippin on it? or just gentle cruising?

First off, your plugs are waaaaaasyyyyyy too cold. Put some 6's in there if its stock compression. Also looks a little rich, pic isn't clear enough to judge timing, but all that's out the window with the wrong plugs anyway.

Phil is right...Wayyyy to cold. i am in the 7 heat range at almost 500whp. 6's is where you want to be....get bkr6eix

You might want to get the bkr6eix-11 if your not turbo, nitrous , really high compression ect

gentle cruising
usually i drive small distance from my job to my house.

i tuned my car with these #8 range plugs
can now shift to #6 range without any problems ? ?

It will be fine. You should be able to get a better timing mark too. I'm on a phone, but see no sign of timing marks on those plugs.

in gental cruising you will run more lean for mpg's its fine to have some white their. now if you were ripping on it right before you pull them and theres white then that may mean your afrs are lean at wot.
