Default Forged piston scratches

I have some wiseco forged pistons that I ran in a turbo b16 for all of 90 miles before fastener failure on the dyno. After taking the entire block apart I noticed that the skirts of my pistons had some nice scratches. Not deep gouges but scratches I can just barely feel with my fingers. Anyway to smooth these out? I've heard swain does a coating but I'd like to just stay away from that.

A picture would have helped. The scratches may not even be a problem.
The moly coating on the skirts is the best solution.
