Default Making Je pistons stronger

Im about to refresh all my internals into a sleeved block and was gonna see if there was anything that most local machine shops could do to make the pistons stronger. they are JE pistons. Just for added assurance or something while they are out.

i dont think there is such thing as making the piston "stronger"

just have the pistons measured to make sure they are still usable and used NEW piston rings......

I know the pistons are still usable cause im still driving them around right now

as far as strengthening, i mean like, how you can cryo treat rods and ****, things like that.

hmmmmm......dont know about treating them but some guys like to have the piston skirts moly coated and the piston domes ceramic coated......helps reduce friction on the skirts and the dome coating is supposed to make them withstand more heat.

Heat is the enemy of pistons and heat coating is the best way to make them "stronger"
