Drag Civic - Stock ls on 18psi to built B2o
My buddy Reed Chapman began building a fully drag civic last year. After dumping about 11k into a coupe set up to handle a 8 second pass and meet all regulations the season was about to begin when he blew his Race B20 up on the dyno around 650whp. The track opened the following week and he was there with his drag car with a junkyard stock ls motor with gsr tranny on 18psi. Ran in the Elevens consistently and made about 30 passes before the b20 was rebuilt and back in. This time it was tuned conservatively by fmfkid250 I believe around 525 -550whp. After a long season of shedding tranny after tranny and dropping valves, pistons, he was able to make a ton of 10 second passes. So until next year, heres some clips from our local track outside of pittsburgh pa.
Junkyard ls:
One week later:
B20:
And a clip of his daily b5 s4 with ko4's and water meth. makes 475whp on a mustang

cool car but 11k to handle a 8 sec pass would be stretching it.

I tuned it not TPG! The stock ls was around 340ish.
Expect to see this car at a ton of races next year on a 67mm,and a dog box!

fixed my mistake.
I'm heading over this weekend to see the new Street legal beast they have put together so ill ask if he's selling anything off. Most likely is, had about 11 blocks laying around, 4 or 5 long blocks, tons of heads and a crap ton of forced induction goodies, so im sure something has got to be for sale.
