Most likely the tail light seals. Check in your trunk under your spare and see if its holding water. Tail light seals was the problem on mine, the back floor boards were wet also. If not it can be the sunroof drains like you said.

From what I've noticed taking my sunroof panel off the drainage on it actually really good. Not sure if it's the same on a 5th gen but each corner of the sunroof has a rubber hose connected to it that drains the water out the front/back of the car so I doubt it's coming from there

+1 on the tail light seals. Happened to my buddies fifth gen. Water pools in the trunk and gets sloshed into the passenger compartment when you brake. The carpet was wet u fee the passenger seat.

Well Im pretty sure it's the tail light seals for multiple reasons lol one there is moisture in the bottom of my tail lights second I checked in my spare bay In the trunk an it is full of water an it froze lol about an inch or 2 thick lol. How would I go about to fixing this like tail light seals an the moisture under the back seats an the front carpeting.

Pull the rubber plugs in the trunk floor out. two plugs about half dollar size. That's first off so when water gets in it will drain back out for now. Next I would check to c if your rubber seals on the taillights r in fair condition and on right (they do have a side to them one goes against the car And other against the taillights. I would get some rubber ribbon tape or seal (think that's what it's called) or shop term dum dum. Clean your taillights where it meets the taillight pocket and put some on to fill the gap. May help

For the back seats pull them out and put in your house with a fan blowing to dry them up, the bottom seat will have two spots that u pull a tab out towards u, this unlocks the bottom part. The tabs r in the middle of each backseat and right were the seat and the floor meets. Pull the seat up a little to c the the black tab on each side And pull that out towards u, sometimes it's a little hard to get to unlock. that bottom part will now come out. Good luck, been down this road too.
