i really need some help with my acura integra
i just installed a new turbo kit on my 94 integra rs and im moving from 8.5 psi to 10 psi and it boost fine threw first and second but third threw fifth gear when it hits the boost its acting like it wants to cut off at 10 psi.
any ideas of what might be going on would be wonderful!

Did you upgrade your MAP sensor, what fuel injectors are you running. Also has your engine/EMS been tuned for the new amount of boost? What are you using for tuning? Could be anything from the tune, fuel injectors or even spark plug gap or heat range.....
Some information about your setup would help with a diagnosis!

t3/t4 turbocharger 57 ar
b18 cast 3 turbo manifold
b18b1 ls swap
3'' to 2.5 intercooler piping
2.5'' exhaust straight pipe with muffler
38mm waste gate
p28 map
660cc injectors
spark plug gap .14
and no i figured it could handle the move from 8.5 to 10 psi..
it was tuned on chrome gold by central florida turbo.
anything else?
its still boosting funny and now ive had a drop in boost form 8.5/9 to right at five psi.

First off stock honda map sensors can read up to 11.2psi, although i wouldnt puch it that close cus if the possible inaccuracy of your guage 10psi should be a safe distance unless uv dropped your guage one too many times. Also the cutting out will most likely be the tune. when you go into higher gears the load on the engine becomes greater therefor the engine works harder thus more fuel/less timeing is needed to keep detonation and misfire away. So right now your lucky u dont have a melted piston. As for the lack of boost though it could numerous things i would lean toward one of your exhaust gaskets particulary the wastegate flange gasket considering im sure u werent watching ur exhaust temps and knowing that the most common things that happens with almost any type of boost cut is the exhaust temps spike. thats my opinion.
