94 integra rs just moved from 8 to 10 psi and now its cutting off
runs good threw first and second but when i hit the boost in third threw fifth its trying to cut off...
anyone have any ideas of what might be happening?

do u have a upgraded map sensor? u may have it set for 10 but u may be geting some boost creep past 10 which tha stock map sensor will not like. if you havent upgraded then you should or have a boost cut set

I'm guessing it wasn't retuned. And I bet his excuse will be but I had it tuned already

On my S300 you can set a boost point to instantly cut power. I think it turns off the injectors if I recall. Anyhow you set it a couple PSI above what you run and if something goes wrong and you have boost creep, failed wastegate etc. it instantly shuts you down when you hit that boost level. First time I ever hit it by mistake while playing around with the boost controller feature I thought I broke the car. It instantly falls flat on its face.
It's possible the OP has upped his boost and hitting such a safety feature his tuner set.

I meant that with the cooler weather it is more common for it to spike and hit boost cut.

When running without the controller and just using a spring of set pressure I found much more consistent boost as weather changes.

what size injectors are you running?
and like above already asked - did you retune? and what is your spark plug gap?

you tuner likely set boost cut for 11psi since thats as high as the map sensor can read. they do this for two reasons, one to protect against boost control failire, and secondly for th emoron that just cranks up the boost more than it was tuned for.
you may also be blowing out the spark which i highly dought at 10psi

3'' to 2.5 intercooler piping
2.5'' exhaust straight pipe with muffler
38mm waste gate
p28 map
660cc injectors
spark plug gap .14
and no i figured it could handle the move from 8.5 to 10 psi..
it was tuned on chrome gold by central florida turbo.
anything else?
