B18c Type R... fuel clerificaion...
ok here is the setup:
92 hatch back
96 spec b18c Type R stock
converted to obd1
aem cai
rmf header
2.5 exhaust
chipped p28 running stock b18c type R map (converted to obd1)
now... I've searched and searched and came up with so many different answers its not funny anymore...
1) What size injectors came stock on the b18c Type R??? Ive seen answers ranging from 240cc, 290cc, and even 310cc. I've been told it has d series in there now that are 240's.
2) What is the stock fuel pressure on a b18c Type R??? Seen at least 4 answers on this...
This is a buddies car... that he just got... I've allready fixed so much crap on it its not even funny it seriously makes me want to cry... I pulled the fuel pump to find a rigged mid 90's chevy fuel pump. A wiring mess from hell spent over 4 hours soldering and shrink wrapping removing 50+ butt connectors from the wiring harness harness and another 15 or so under the dash... got it running well. But there is still something not quite right...
I converted it to obd1 and ordered the chipped ecu and directed them what map I wanted. Just take the fuel tables from the obd2 b18c Type R P-73 and paste them into a obd1 format. Makeing sure they understood that it was going into and powering an obd1 converted b18c type R in obd1 format.
