Hey everyone I just bought a 1993 Honda Del Sol Si with 139,000 miles with one previous owner...for $400!!! When I bought it the car did not run. The owner said they went out to drive it one day, and it just wouldnt start. The car sat for a year then they got tired of it. So they were going to junk it, but I said hey why not? So I bought it took it home tried everything to make it run it just would not start. New battery, new altenator, new main relay, and starter and solenoid were just fine! What could be wrong? No blown fuses all grounds were good... Took the interior apart and found an aftermarket valet system =.= the fuses died so I just took them out and car starts up juuuusssttt fine! So far I have changed the oil, flushed brakes, and it news brakes all around beyond rusted and pitted. The worst part is...
I need a new clutch... I do not know how to change a clutch and I have no idea which clutch to get!!! So can someone reccomend what I need? And is it possible to DIY? I have all the equipment to change it I believe, but if it is to daunting... My plans for this car just fix minor body details ( I will upload pics once I get enough post on here :D) and this will be my new DD I am putting up my main car Challenger R/T ;D up for winter. So I just want a reliable ole honda! Any help is very much appreciated and reccomendations on anything to make it reliable too! Thanks everyone!

 

Just get an OEM replacement clutch (Exedy is VERY good) if you plan on DD'ing it. It takes all of 4 hrs to change so google some DIY's and get to work.
